Mr. Sheffey was born and raised in Lebanon.  In 1974, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. degree.  In 1977, he received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  He was admitted to practice before the courts of Pennsylvania in 1977 and has been practicing in Lebanon with this firm since that time.

Mr. Sheffey's practice has taken him throughout many courts within Pennsylvania, and he is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

His professional affiliations include the Lebanon County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
