A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Paul C. Bametzreider conducted his preparatory education at West Virginia University, where he received his B.A. in 1985. He continued his legal training at Duquesne University, where he earned a J.D. in 1989.

Mr. Bametzreider was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1989. He is a member of the Lebanon County Bar, and the Pennsylvania State Bar, where he is a member of the Corporation, Banking and Business Law, and Municipal Law Sections. He is also a member of the Committee for the Legal Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Mr. Bametzreider is an instructor for the Pennsylvania Banker's Institute in subjects relating to law and banking.  Mr. Bametzreider is the solicitor for several townships and authorities.
